It’s a wrap of 96 Remake: Samantha Akkineni shares an emotional post as she talks about her challenging role

The Telugu remake of Tamil flick 96 starring Samantha Akkineni and Sharwanand in the lead roles, is one of the much-awaited films. Titled Janu, the shooting of the film kick-started a couple of months ago and now, it’s a wrap-up. South beauty Samantha Akkineni took to Instagram and announced about the film’s wrap up with a beautiful picture. She wrote, “And it’s a wrap!! Another special film and a role that has challenged me to be better than I was yesterday .. blessed to work with a team that manages to create magic everyday .. Director C Prem Kumar recently took to Facebook to the share the details about the film’s shoot. He wrote, “The film is nearing completion; I should wrap it up in another 10-15 days, and the title will be decided after that. I’m glad I got fantastic performers in the form of Sharwanand and Samantha for the Telugu version as well.” In an interview with Silver Screen, the director opened up about how decided to remake within a year of the original film’s release. He revealed, “It’s a chance for me to relive the sensation called 96 again. So, in my mind, it’s not a remake,” he smiles.
