IT Officials raid producer Suresh Babu's Ramanaidu Studios and seize key documents
The Income-Tax (IT) Department on Wednesday morning raided Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. The production company is owned by Tollywood producer Daggubati Suresh Babu.
The Income-Tax (IT) Department on Wednesday morning raided Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad, which is owned by Tollywood producer Daggubati Suresh Babu. The raid began early in the morning and reportedly, the other premises owned by the producer are also under scrutiny. Reportedly, the officials have also raid Suresh Babu's residence in Hyderabad. The raid is expected to continue until the late evening. Meanwhile, reports are doing rounds that important documents have been examined and seized by the officials.
However, no official word has been made regarding the same by the producer. Daggubati Suresh Babu, as we all know is one of the biggest producers of the Tollywood film industry. He is the son of legendary producer Daggubati Ramanaidu, who started 'Suresh Productions' and has bankrolled more than 150 films. The production house also runs many theatres in both the Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Meanwhile, reports state Suresh Babu is currently not in the country.
On the other hand, reports are doing rounds that Natural Star Nani and noted production houses like Haarika Haasine Creations, Sitara Entertainments are on IT radar.
