International Women’s Day: Anushka Shetty poses for a pic with her mother and wishes all inspiring women
Sharing a photo with her mother on her Instagram space, Anushka Shetty wished all the inspiring women in the world on International Women's day.
On the International Women’s Day, Baahubali beauty Anushka Shetty took to her Instagram space and shared a photo with her mother and extended her heartwarming wishes to all the inspiring women in the world. In the photo, they both can be seen flaunting their radiant smile. Sharing the photo, Anushka wrote, “Happy International #WomensDay to all the strong, inspiring women around the world”. Her fans and followers took to the comments section and wished the mother-daughter duo on Women’s Day.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka has not yet officially announced her next project. But reports about the same are making the rounds on social media. There are reports that Ra Ra Krishnayya director Mahesh P is planning to cast her in his next project. Cinema Express quoted a source saying, "Mahesh P has been working on the script for the last few months. He narrated the plotline to Anushka during the Covid-19 lockdown and she was extremely pleased with both the concept and her character, which is unlike anything she has attempted in the past."

She was last seen in the multilingual film titled Nishabdham with R Madhavan. The silent thriller drama received a mixed response from the audience and critics alike. It was one of the first films to get direct release on OTT platform during the lockdown. Reports suggest that she will be seen in a film directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, and some reports state that it will be the sequel of Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu. However, there is no official update regarding the same.
