Ilaiyaraaja has hit the headlines again. The 76-year-old veteran music composer recently did a live concert which was attended by S.P. Balasubramaniam and K.J. Yesudas and other popular playback singers. However, the event caught attention for the wrong reasons after Ilaiyaraaja lost cool on a security guard. According to reports, the guard appeared on the stage only to offer water to the musicians; however, this did not go well with Ilaiyaraaja. He apparently called the guard and questioned him for interrupting the musicians during the live concert.
Showing some respect, the guard walked towards Ilayaraja, touched his feet and sought an apology. Reportedly, he even went on to speak rudely with the audience saying how people who had paid Rs 500 and 1000 had occupied seats meant for those who had paid Rs 10,000. He went on a rant. Ilaiyaraaja is being criticised for being rude and arrogant again. Earlier, he had a huge fallout with singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam and had also made shocking comments about music directors who use his copyright songs in their films without his permission.
Meanwhile, here's the video of Ilaiyaraaja getting angry at the security guard during the live concert:
The concert held at the EVP Film City yesterday is grabbing a lot of attention on social media for the obvious reasons. At the concert, SPB and Yesudas left the audience amazed with a song from the film Thalapathi.
