Harish Shankar has THIS to say about controversy regarding upcoming film Valmiki
Harish Shankar's film Valmiki has been embroiled in a lot of controversies and so, the former decided to speak up and here is what he has to say.
Harish Shankar's upcoming film Valmiki has run into a controversy and members of the Valmiki community have, in fact, gone on to file a complaint against the makers. The movie that stars Varun Tej, Atharvaa, and Pooja Hege in lead roles has received a complaint from Valmiki Reservation Porata Samithi for making money off a film that promotes violence but is named after a sage like Maharshi. The complaint has been filed at Guntur.
Now, Shankar went on to Tweet about the same and gave out a clarification. He wrote on social media, "Valmiki poojinchina Ramudu Kooda Dharmam Kosam fighting chesadu.... anyways we will respect and consider the concerns of #Valmiki Community. And before getting into anything I would like to clearly state that Hero’s name is NOT “Valmiki “ in the film .... So Our hero isn’t named after the great VALMIKI." Check it out here:

While there hasn't been any development on what the makers are planning to do and if the complaint will be withdrawn, this is what is. The pre-teaser came out rather recently and in the teaser, we see 18 seconds of clip without any sound and shows Varun in an all new avatar. The pre-teaser has been accepted well by the audience and now, the movie is much awaited with not many details about it out already.
