The King of Tollywood, Akkineni Nagarjuna celebrates his birthday today, i.e. August 29th and the actor has been receiving birthday wishes from across the country on Twitter. The king of action and romance is a powerhouse performer and has always left his fans amazed with his on-screen persona. Known to experiment with his roles in the films, Nagarjuna has proved to be one of the best actors in the Telugu film industry. He is quite popular even among the youth of today. His style and charisma is always the talk of the town.

Nagarjuna is quite obsessed with cars and owns expensive ones. 

His equation with both the sons, Akhil Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya is more like a friend than a father. The Telugu star shares a great bond with his sons. 

Having won three Filmfare Awards South and one National Film Award-Special Mention, Nagarjuna has worked in around 13 Bollywood movies. 

Nagarjuna Akkineni has studied B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Akkineni Nagarjuna made his acting debut as a child artist in the Telugu film Sudigundalu that released in 1967 with his father Akkineni Nageswara Rao as the lead actor.
