Varun Tej’s upcoming sports drama Ghani is one of the most anticipated films for Summer 2022. Today, the makers unveiled the trailer and the actor packs a punch with boxing stint, romance, sentiments, emotions and etc. The actor's battle of emotions in the ring shows win is the only that matters to him and every match is a do-or-die situation.
In the teaser, one can also notice powerful performances of Upendra and Jagapathi Babu along with the cute antics of Saiee Manjrekar, who is the female lead of the film. Varun and Saiee look fresh and promise great chemistry on the big screen. Sharing the Trailer on Twitter, Varun wrote, Here you go, #GhaniTrailer. Varun Tej will be playing the role of a boxer in Ghani. The actor underwent a rigorous training schedule under the watchful eyes of boxer Tony Jeffries, an Olympic champion. Ghani also roped in Hollywood stuntman Larnell Stovall as the action choreographer of the film. Ghani which was scheduled to hit the theaters on February 25, got postponed again to avoid clash with Bheemla Nayak and is now set for release on 8th April.
Naveen Chandra played the antagonist. Upendra, Jagapathi Babu, Nadiya and Suniel Shetty played prominent roles. The film is directed by Kiran Korrapati and produced by Allu Bobby and Siddhu Mudda under the banner of Renaissance Pictures. Geeta Arts is presenting the film. Thaman S composed the music.
