Ghani: Producers of Varun Tej starrer make a major announcement on film's release date

Looks like Varun Tej starrer Ghani is heading the RRR way. The makers have announced that the sports drama will either release on 25 February or 4 March. This decision has been taken due to the current COVID-19 situation. 

Several makers are in a fix as they do not know what will be the circumstances and when to release the film for maximum footfall in theatres. Before Ghani, the makers of SS Rajamouli’s RRR had taken a similar approach. They too announced two release dates for the film, to avoid being affected by the COVID-19 scenario.

Varun Tej’s next has been helmed by Kiran Korrapati. The actor will essay the role of a kickboxer and has trained rigorously for the part. The actor prepared to play a boxer by training under former England boxer Tony Jeffries.

The project will also star Saiee Manjrekar, Jagapathi Babu, Upendra, Suniel Shetty, and Naveen Chandra. Produced by Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company, the film has been delayed multiple times before this, owing to the pandemic. S Thaman has scored the music for the film and cinematography has been handled by George C. Williams. 

Varun Tej will also star in the second installment of the Fun and Frustration franchise. The film named F3: Fun and Frustration has been directed by Anil Ravipudi. Backed by Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film also stars Venkatesh, Tamannaah Bhatia and Mehreen Pirzada, who will be seen reprising their roles from the first film.
