Gaddalakonda Ganesh Movie Review: Here's how audience reacts to Varun Tej, Pooja Hegde starrer Valmiki

Director Harish Shankar's Telugu movie Gaddalakonda Ganesh (Valmiki) has finally released today, September 20. Starring Varun Tej, Atharvaa, Pooja Hegde, the film created immense buzz ahead of its release. From the first look of each character to the trailer of the film, Valmiki set high expectations among the audience. The film is the Telugu remake of Tamil superhit film Jigarthanda. Pooja Hegde is reprising Lakshmi Menon’s role from the original while Varun Tej is essaying the lead role of a gangster. Well, the film has released today and it has opened to a positive response. 

Going by the first review by the audience on Twitter, Valmiki has managed to live up to audience expectations. The Pooja Hegde and Varun Tej starrer is receiving good response. One of the Twitter users who has watched the film, wrote, "#Valmiki Outstanding screen presence for @IAmVarunTej. Just watch it for him! Wonderful job! Gaddalakonda Ganesh ante gaja gaja vanakaleeee 

movie is good, except for few forced comedy seq in d 2nd half and Pooja H scenes.. and this is @IAmVarunTej best performance.. Always liked @harish2you 's humor incorporated.. #Valmiki is no exception.. emotional seqs are perfectly executed

#Valmiki - (2.5/5) Strictly Average!

Though the 1st half has Comedy that definitely worked, it's the 2nd half which falls flat especially, the last 25 mins. that dragged.

The story of the film revolves around an aspiring director, who decides to make a film on a gangster. In search of the actor for his film, he comes across a gangster named Ganesh played by Varun Tej. Pooja Hegde's character in the film plays an important role in the second half.
