FIRST PHOTOS: Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday bond and get candid on the sets of Puri Jagannadh's film

Pinkvilla reported first that not Janhvi Kapoor but Ananya Panday will romance Vijay Deverakonda in the upcoming Telugu film, Fighter. Puri Jagannadh is directing the film and Vijay plays the male lead role. The first schedule of the film kick-started in Mumbai and now finally, amidst all the buzz, Ananya Panday has joined the team. The first photos of Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya from the sets of their upcoming film have surfaced on social media and we can't keep calm. One can see in the photos, Vijay and Ananya bond and get candid as they discuss script on the sets along with Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur. Going by the first photos, the two lead actors are sure to leave us amazed with their sizzling chemistry in the film. 

"They needed a fresh pairing and plan to release the film pan-India in several languages. They approached Ananya for the film and she really liked the concept. It's a fresh love-story which is loaded with action," a source revealed to us. As reported earlier, the Hindi version of the upcoming film will be backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda's recently released film World Famous Lover has tanked at the box office. Released last week on Friday, the film has failed to live up to audiences' expectations. The love saga, showcasing four stories has only earned Rs 8.6 crore at the box office since its release and has earned Rs 27 crore approx worldwide. 

Directed by Kranti Madhav, the film stars four actresses Raashi Khanna, Aishwarya Rajesh, Catherine Tresa and Izabelle Leite.
