EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Is Shah Rukh Khan a part of Vijay's Thalapathy 63? Jackie Shroff REACTS
There are speculations that the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan might play a cameo in Vijay's upcoming Tamil movie Thalapathy 63, directed by Atlee.
As we all know the South film industry's relation with Bollywood and vice versa has been highly successful over the years. Of late, a lot of B-town celebs are venturing into the Southern industry. With Alia Bhatt all set to make her Tollywood debut in SS Rajamouli's RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, there are speculations that the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan might play a cameo in Vijay's upcoming Tamil movie Thalapathy 63, directed by Atlee. Reports are doing rounds that SRK will play a cameo in Thalapathy 63, however, no official confirmation regarding the same has been made.
Recently, we got in touch with Jackie Shroff who is a part of Vijay's film. Jackie Shroff is a part of Thalapathy 63 and will be seen playing a negative role. When asked about reports of Shah Rukh Khan to play a cameo in the fillm, Jackie Shroff neither deny or confirm. He said, "I hope he does it. Everyone should try and venture into different languages." Well, Shah Rukh Khan might have not acted in Tamil films, but the superstar is quite popular down South. SRK had shared the screen space with Kollywood star Thala Ajith in Asoka years ago.
Meanwhile, talking about his third outing in Tamil, Jackie Shroff said, "I feel Tamil industry likes me.. my Hero film ran for 75 weeks out there. I feel Tamil Nadu is favourable and I have been doing films in Tamil. I'm so happy that they have accepted and love me out there."
Being directed by Atlee, the film also stars Kathir, Yogi Babu, Vivek, Daniel Balaji and Anandraj among others. Thalapathy 63 is said to be a sports drama entertainer and will see Vijay in the role of a football coach. The music of the film has been composed by A R Rahman.
