Young Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan will be seen playing the role of most wanted criminal in Kerala, Sukumara Kurup. Director Srinath is reuniting with Dulquer after almost 7 years and fans are eagerly waiting to know what's in the store for them. Srinath Rajendran had directed Dulquer's debut film Second Show, which released in 2012. The director took to social media and made an announcement about the upcoming film's status and also shared a fan-made poster that is quite gripping and will leave you curious to know more about the film. 

Srinath Rajendran wrote on his Facebook page, "Grateful to the almighty for this day, on which we announce the good news that "Kurup" goes on the floor from today. We took around 5 years of our sweet time working on this epic and I, personally, thank Dulquer Salmaan for being with us throughout this journey. Details regarding the crew, cast and other whereabouts will be announced soon.. Here is a "fan-made" poster done by a very talented friend Sani Yas, which I liked very much and felt should get released officially today. Saimaa here it is." 

According to reports, Sukumara Kurup was accused in the murder of Chacko, a film representative, in the year 1984. Chacko was strangled to death and his body was burnt inside a car. Sukumara Kurup allegedly committed the crime to fake his own death and claim an insurance amount of INR 800,000


Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan will also be seen in Bollywood film, Zoya Factor opposite Sonam Kapoor. He is currently also shooting for Tamil films Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal and Vaan.
