Dulquer Salmaan's Kurup: Sobhita Dhulipala joins the team; Says 'I am thrilled'
Sobhita Dhulipala, who was recently seen in Geethu Mohandas’ Moothon, will romance Dulquer Salmaan in the upcoming Malayalam thriller Kurup. The Made In Heaven actress is quite excited to be a part of the film as she kick-starts the shoot.
Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan's second Bollywood film, The Zoya Factor has released today. Meanwhile, the actor's upcoming film Kurup is quite in the news as the makers of the film have finalized the female lead. Sobhita Dhulipala, who was recently seen in Geethu Mohandas’ Moothon, will romance Dulquer Salmaan in the upcoming Malayalam thriller Kurup. The Made In Heaven actress is quite excited to be a part of the film as she kick-starts the shoot.
Sobhita Dhulipala says, "I am an admirer of Malayalam cinema and it gives me a lot of joy to be doing this film. After working with Nivin Pauly in Moothon which we just presented at the Toronto International film festival, I am doubly thrilled to be working with the very wonderful Dulquer whose work I watched and thoroughly enjoyed. I hope I find the opportunity to be a part of many beautiful stories across all regions of everywhere."
Earlier this month, Dulquer announced about his film with fans on twitter. He tweeted, "At long last we just switched on our very ambitious #Kurup !!! We will strive and do our best to give you all a very special film ! Wishing our entire team the very best of luck ! Lots of love & prayers."
Directed by Srinath Rajendran, Kurup had been in the news since two years and finally, the film went on the floors earlier this month. The film will be centered on Sukumara Kurup. More details about the cast and crew is awaited.
