Drishyam 2 Movie Twitter Review: Mohanlal, Meena, Jeethu Joseph's film opens to a phenomenal response

Drishyam 2, the much-awaited Malayalam film starring Mohanlal has finally released today, February 19. Starring superstar Mohanlal in the lead role along with Meena, Esther and Ansiba, the film begins where the first part ended. Well, one simply can’t wait to see the mystery unfold finally. There is too much excitement among the moviegoers to see what happens in the life of Georgekutty and his family at its peak. The first reviews of the film are out and Drishyam 2 has managed to hit the right chord. The film is getting good response from the audience and critics alike.

One of the Twitter users wrote, "A perfect sequel that can be given to a movie like #Drishyam. #JeethuJoseph Again proved that he is the master of thrillers. First half started with slow pace same as in the first part. Then the interval came with a bang." The film takes viewers back to the world of Georgekutty that’s filled with suspense and mystery. All I can say now is that this will be an edge-of-the-seat crime-thriller with more twists and turns. I would request the audience not to compare it with the first film. This one is best enjoyed as an independent film.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal in an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, hinted that they may release the film on the big screens after the pandemic situation is contained. He said, "After theatres open, we can bring back the film to the big screens after four months."
