Reportedly, Pooja is charging a whopping amount for a 15-day shoot that will see her opposite Varun Tej. Directed by Harish Shankar, the film titled as Valmiki is the remake of Jigarthanda.
Bollywood turned South beauty Pooja Hegde is currently on roll. The actress is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, Maharshi starring Mahesh Babu in the male lead. The film is all set to release on May 9th and meanwhile, the actress is currently in the news over her remuneration for the next film. Reportedly, Pooja is charging a whopping amount for a 15-day shoot that will see her opposite Varun Tej. Directed by Harish Shankar, the film titled Valmiki is a remake of Jigarthanda. Though the actress has major flops and few hits, Pooja is one of the most sought-after actresses in the Telugu cinema.
According to a report in IB Times, Pooja Hegde has been approached to play the female lead in Valmiki and the actress has a limited screen space in the film. Speculations are rife that Pooja Hegde has asked for Rs 2 crores as her salary for Varun Tej's Valmiki. The report further states producer Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta have agreed to pay this whopping. However, neither makers nor Pooja has reacted to the same.

Pooja Hegde is spreading her talent wings with her performances in Bollywood and down South as well. The gorgeous beauty made her big Bollywood debut with Mohenjo Daro in 2016 and is already working with some of the biggest names from the film industry. She will also feature in Housefull 4, which is set to release this year. In fact, the actress has been signed for a three-film deal with producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
