Dhanush speaks up on rumours of Vetrimaaran directorial Vada Chennai 2 being SHELVED
Dhanush said in his tweet that the film is still on and he was not aware of why there was a confusion among his fans about this film. Dhanush has given a clarification about the film Vada Chennai 2 saying that it has not been shelved.
Dhanush will soon complete the shoot of the film with director Vetrimaaran titled 'Asuran'. The fans were hoping that the superstar will soon start shooting for his next film which the fans thought would be Vada Chennai 2. There were strong rumours floating around that this film with director Vetrimaaran has been shelved. But, Dhanush took to Twitter to deny these rumours about the film being shelved. Dhanush said in his tweet that the film is still on and he was not aware of why there was a confusion among his fans about this film.
He further added that unless there is an official statement being released from his side, the fans should not believe in any of the rumours. The fans were eagerly waiting to hear about the film, Vada Chennai 2 and now that the actor has clarified that the film is not being shelved, the fans have a reason to rejoice. There were rumours floating around that the film has been dropped due to the negative comments that came in from the viewers of North Chennai for the first part of this film titled, Vada Chennai.

This film was directed by National Award-winning director, Vetrimaaran.
