Chiranjeevi reveals he was a bit JEALOUS of Ram Charan; Here's why
Speaking at an event in Chennai, the megastar Chiranjeevi spoke about how he was a bit jealous of Ram Charan when he saw his son play a warrior in Magadheera.
Megastar Chiranjeevi will be seen in his upcoming film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, one of the biggest films of the year. The film, which is produced by Ram Charan, is all set to release tomorrow, October 2nd. The magnum opus also features Amitabh Bachchan. With the film just a day away from the release, there's massive hype among the moviegoers. Chiranjeevi and team are also super excited and confident about the film as the megastar fulfils his wish to portray the character of a freedom fighter.
During one of the interviews, Chiranjeevi revealed that he delayed Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy by a decade for his political career. Speaking at an event in Chennai, the megastar also spoke that how he was a bit jealous of Ram Charan when he saw his son play a warrior in Magadheera. "I was a bit jealous on seeing Ram Charan playing a warrior in Magadheera. I even told him that. He took that so seriously and launched Sye Raa under his own production to make me happy," Chiranjeevi said at the promotional event of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Sye Raa is a period drama based on the life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
Chiranjeevi had been living the dream to play Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy since last 12 years and finally, it's fulfilled. It remains to see how the film performs at the box office.
The period drama also starring Nayanthara, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Anushka Shetty among others will hit screens on Gandhi Jayanti in a clash with Bollywood film WAR starring Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan. The film has music by Amit Trivedi.
