Box Office: Ram Pothineni's iSmart Shankar beats Samantha Akkineni's Oh Baby

Ram Pothineni, Nabha Natesh and Nidhhi Agerwal's recently released film iSmart Shankar is ruling the box office like a boss. The film, which released on July 18 has set the box-office on fire with its worldwide collection of Rs 56 cr in six days. The film has not only opened to good reviews but is also earning huge all over. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the entertainer is unstoppable and is earning pretty good. The film has beat Samantha Akkineni's Oh Baby, which had released on July 5th. 

Reportedly, Samantha starrer Oh Baby has collected Rs 32+ lakhs from RTC X Roads cinema halls, on the other hand, Ram Pothineni’s Ismart Shankar has collected Rs 45+ lakhs in just 4 days of release. Well, both films are doing great in particular regions. iSmart Shankar and Oh Baby, have won hearts of Tamil and Telugu audience with the powerful content. Oh Baby, which has been directed by Nandini Reddy has crossed USD 1 million at the US box office. The film is an official remake of Miss Granny and the story of the film revolves around a 70-year-old woman who turns into her 24-year-old self after getting photographed in a studio.

Samantha Akkineni's close friends like Rakul Preet, Rana Daggubati, Lavanya and Adivi Sesh, among others, took to Twitter and wished Sam as it almost becomes the fourth Telugu movie to attain the million-dollar feat in 2019 after F2: Fun and Frustration, Maharshi, and Jersey.
