Shockingly, the film has been leaked online within a few hours of its release. Unfortunately, both the film is available for download by online streaming sites like Tamilrockers for free. Well, the India film industry has been trying their best to stop online piracy and has left no stone unturned to spread the word against it but is yet not successful.
This is not for the first time that any film has been a victim of piracy. Many big Bollywood and South films like 2.0, Saaho have been the victim of piracy. The online piracy is going to affect Bigil's box office collection at some point. Moreover, Bigil has opened to a massive response by the audience and critics alike. Produced by AGS Entertainment on a whopping budget of Rs 180 crore, Thalapathy Vijay starrer has also released in Telugu titled 'Whistle'. This shocking accident might affect the box office collection of the film.
Bigil sees Vijay in dual roles, as a father and a son. As shown in the trailer, he plays the coach of a women's football team as the son.
