Bigil: Thalapathy Vijay starrer set to earn THIS huge amount even before its release?

Vijay's upcoming Tamil movie Thalapathy 63, directed by Atlee, is one of the much-awaited films of the year. The film has been in the limelight since its inception and the first look of Vijay starrer has only set high expectations. Vijay is one of those actors in Kollywood who has given hit after hit in the last few years. Looks like, the actor is all set for another blockbuster with a powerful role in Bigil. The Atlee directorial is expected to set a new benchmark even before its release. According to a report in IB Times, Bigil is expected to cross Rs 220-crore mark in its pre-release business.

The makers of Vijay starrer have apparently sold the overseas rights of the film for worth Rs 30 crore. While music and satellite rights of all languages have been closed to Rs 3.5 crore and Rs 30 crore respectively. There are a few distributors who have also bet to acquire the Tamil Nadu rights of the film and the total standard set is Rs 80 crore approx. This is huge! The makers will earn huge even from the sale of Hindi dubbing and satellite rights, which is expected to be between Rs 25-28 crore. However, no official numbers about the film’s sale right are out.

A day before Vijay’s birthday, director Atlee took to Twitter and shared the first interesting yet intense look that will leave you curious to know more about Vijay's dual role. He tweeted as, "Here comes my Bday gift to @actorvijay Anna. #Bigil Ennoda anna Ennoda thalapathy." Bigil lso stars Kathir, Yogi Babu, Vivek, Daniel Balaji and Anandraj among others. The music of the film has been composed by A R Rahman. Reportedly, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan will be seen playing a cameo in the film.
