A few days ago Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Lataa Saberwal has announced that she is quitting daily soaps. The actress better known for her role Rajshri Maheshwari in the show made the announcement on social media. Lataa Saberwal has been part of many shows and films too. She is a well-known face of the television industry. Her decision came as a shock for her fans as they loved to see her on-screen, but the actress said that she now to focus on something else.
Recently, in an interview with The Times of India, Lataa Saberwal opens up about her decision. She said, “During the lockdown, I got ample time to think about myself. It was then I realized that my priority has changed now. I want to focus on new things. I now want to focus more on my 7- and-a-half-year-old son, help him in his studies.” Lataa also creates makeup tutorial videos and posting them on her YouTube channel. Lataa always wanted to become an actor and was seen in shows like Shaka Laka Boom Boom, Woh Apna Sa, Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Aarzoo Hai Tu, Jannat, Jhooth Bole Kauwa Kate and others.
However, she did clarify saying, “I have not quit completely. I will take up small projects with 5-6 days working. I am ready to compromise with my pay.” Lataa is also fitness enthusiastic and her Instagram video is filled with inspiring videos.
When asked about her husband Sanjeev's thoughts on her decision, Lataa said that he always supports her in all decisions. The actress has expressed her desire to work on digital platforms. She has also done movies including Vivaah.
