Bigil Movie Box Office Collection Day 1: Vijay and Nayanthara starrer gets a massive opening

Vijay's Bigil, which hit the screens today, October 25th, has opened to a positive response by the audience and critics. Ever since its announcement, the film had created the much-needed buzz among the audience and now that the final product is out, it has managed to live up to audience expectations. Bigil also features Jackie Shroff, Nayanthara, Kathir, Yogi Babu and Vivek in crucial roles. Well, Bigil has hit the right chord and is also minting good numbers at the box office. 

Released all over the world to 4500 screens, this Vijay starrer has witnessed around 90 per cent occupancy at some places in Tamil region. According to media reports, Bigil, directed by Atlee has earned a whopping Rs 200 crore from just advance booking. In Chennai, big single screens started the special shows at 5 am with around 5 to 6 shows in a day. With Diwali long weekend ahead, Bigil is expected to set certain box office records in India as well in the USA.

Bigil sees Vijay in dual roles, as a father and a son. As shown in the trailer, he plays the coach of a women's football team as the son.
