Now, Vanitha's lawyer has spoken about the entire matter. The lawyer gave the following statement to Behindwoods, 'There is a pending case in a court involving Vanitha and her ex-husband about who should have the custody of the child after divorce. Since Vanitha is inside the Bigg Boss house, the husband cannot digest the fact that she's going to become popular, and filed a case. The Telengana Police and the Child Welfare Board came to the Bigg Boss house. They searched Vanitha's friends houses without permission, but the child is studying in a school safely.'
Vanitha Vijayakumar and husband Anand Rajan got divorced in the year 2012 due to some irreconciliable differences. Post that, Anand got the custody of their daughter Jovitha and lived with her in Telengana. However, she called Vanitha that she wanted to live with her. Thereafter, Vanitha brought her back to Chennai.
