The show, which has been a huge hit among the audiences, saw its recent episode facing backlash on social media. In the episode, Kamal Haasan was talking about the difficulties people face while travelling in buses. He added that no one willingly wants to travel in crowded buses because passengers end up being pushed and shoved.
The Tamil star went on to say that there are many who don't have a choice but some people get on buses specifically to grope women. During this, Haasan was interrupted by actor Saravanan who casually admitted that he was one of those guys who used to get on the bus during his college days to grope women.
The incident occurred when the show-host Kamal was trying to sort out the recent spat between Meera Mitun and Cheran. "I used to do it when I was in college," confessed Saravanan and the audience cheered the 90s star with Kamal Haasan laughing it off.The entire video clip has been doing the rounds on social media and garnering backlash.
Singer Chinmayi Sripaada was also one of them who called out the incident and slammed everyone involved. She tweeted the clip and wrote, "A Tamil channel aired a man proudly proclaiming he used the Public Bus Transport system to molest/grope women - to cheers from the audience. And this is a joke.
