Meera Mithun got eliminated from Bigg Boss Tamil season 3 last week. She was one of the most controversial contestants in the house. The model-actress had a lot of fights in the house. Her fall out with Cheran in the house was one of the biggest highlights of the season so far.
In an interview with The Hindu, Meera was asked her thoughts on the online debate that went on about her fall out with Cheran. She said, "Look, I know the opinion about that incident is divisive, but there’s no way I was going to let violent behaviour of any kind remain unaddressed. I go online and see people dig old videos of my Latin dance performance during a reality show, and troll me saying I’m known for this kind of behaviour."
She added that Cheran had called her dark and that her skin was too black. He did it twice but she didn't make a big deal about the racist insults and chose to ignore it as she didn't want to come across that she was disrespecting a popular director.
Meera Mithun added that he also raised his voice on her and yelled at her several times. She questioned, "Is this the famed Tamil culture he talks about, men shouting at women in the society?"
