Beast announcement teaser: Big update on Vijay and Pooja Hegde starrer on your way; DETAILS INSIDE

A big update on Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde starrer Beast will be announced today at 6 PM. The makers informed about the update on Twitter. The post that read “Beast Mode On…#BeastUpdate Today @ 6 PM” also included a small teaser from the action flick. 

The intense 17 seconds clip had equally passionate background music which also had the sound of gun firing and loading bullets.The post has intrigued the fans as it is speculated that the announcement can be either about the release date or the first single. The film is gearing up for a theatrical release on 14 April and with trade pandits already proclaiming it as a blockbuster hit, Pinkvilla had exclusively learned that even before its release, Beast is up for sale for a Hindi remake. However, no official announcement in his regard has been made yet.

Touted to be a black comedy, Beast has been directed by Nelson Dilipkumar with Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, Lilliput Faruqui, Ankur Ajit Vikal, Sathish Krishnan, Redin Kingsley, and Bjorn Surrao in pivotal roles. Vijay Thalapathy’s next has been bankrolled by Sun Pictures. Music for the project has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography has been handled by Manoj Paramahamsa. 

Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay will also star in Tamil-Telugu bilingual project tentatively titled Thalapathy 66. The project will mark his Telugu debut. Produced by Dil Raju, the film is said to be a family-centric story. The actor announced the venture a short while ago.
