Arun Vijay to yet again team up with director Arivazhagan after Kuttram 23
Even while having a bunch of films in his litty, actor Arun Vijay has announced that he will be joining hands with director Arivazhagan again after Kuttram 23.
Arun Vijay seems to be on a signing spree. While he is shooting for Mafia, directed by young filmmaker Karthick Naren, he also has Sinam, directed by GNR Kumaravelan; Vivek's 'Boxer' and Moodar Koodam fame Naveen's second directorial Agni Siragugal in his kitty. Now, it has been announced that he will be joining hands with director Arivazhagan again after Kuttram 23. The excited actor took to Twitter and posted, “I'm really excited to associate once again for #AV31 with director @dirarivazhagan after the success of #Kuttram23, to be Produced by @All_In_Pictures #VijayaRaghavendra #Untitled Some Exciting updates Coming Soon !” (sic).
The movie is said to be a spy thriller and will feature Regina Cassandra as the female lead. It is said to be shot in Chennai, Hyderabad and Delhi. Currently, pre-production is on. Rajasekar takes care of cinematography while Sam CS scores music. The untitled flick is slated for a summer 2020 release. Director Arivazhagan was supposed to make a movie with ‘Lady Superstar’ Nayanthara. However, there has been no update on this, so far.

Sometime back, Arun Vijay's first look as ‘Ranjith’ from Agni Siragugal had released and took social media by storm. The movie has popular musician-turned-actor Vijay Antony playing the parallel lead. Agni Siragugal has been shot in places like Kolkata, Moscow, St Petersburg and Kazakhstan. While shooting is complete, the film is expected to enter post-production soon. The film, produced by T Siva under the Amma Creations banner, features Akshara Haasan, Prakash Raj, Raima Sen, Nassar, and Sendrayan, among others, in pivotal roles.
