Amala Paul REACTS to Article 370 Being Scrapped: It's not an easy task, praying for peaceful days ahead

August 5, 2019, will go down in the history of India courtesy the Government of India. Yesterday, the central government announced that they are revoking Article 370, which granted Jammu & Kashmir a special status, making the state into two different Union Territories. The decision was made after the reorganisation bill was passed by Rajya Sabha on Monday. The bill proposed a Union Territory for Jammu and Kashmir and a separate UT for Ladakh.

Following the announcement, several Bollywood stars took to social media and shared their reactions to the decision. From the South Indian film fraternity, Amala Paul took to Twitter and shared her thoughts on the decision. While she applauded the efforts of the government, she also prayed that peace prevailed in the valley. 

"#Article370Abolished : IMO it's a healthy, hopeful, and much needed change. It's not an easy task, it takes a courageous leader like our honorable @PMOIndia to implement decisions like these. Praying for peaceful days ahead!  #UnityIsPeace #JaiHind" she tweeted. 



On the work front, the actress was last seen in Aadai. The movie got heads turning at the time of its release.
