Allu Arjun & Mahesh Babu to CLASH on Makar Sankranti 2020 with AlaVaikunthapurramuloo and Sarileru Neekevvaru

The year 2020 will kick off on a fantastic note thanks to Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu. The two Telugu superstars are all set to put together a memorable Makar Sankranti for movie lovers and we're already counting down to the festival. Allu Arjun will take on the Makar Sankranti with AlaVaikunthapurramuloo. The Tollywood star announced over the weekend that the movie will release on January 12, 2020. The actor announced the AlaVaikunthapurramuloo release date with a new poster from the movie. 

AlaVaikuntapurramloo is a family drama directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film sees Arjun and Srinivas collaborate for the third time. They were seen working together on S/O Sathyamurthy and Julayi. The poster features the actor holding a sickle and a chicken in his hand. "AlaVaikunthapurramuloo releasing this Sankranthi on Jan 12th 2020 ! #AlaVaikunthapurramuloo" he tweeted. Soon after Arjun announced, Mahesh took to Twitter and announced that he will also release his upcoming film, Sarileru Neekevvaru, at the festival. 

The action-thriller is directed by Anil Ravipudi. “It’s official… #SarileruNeekevvaru in cinemas from Jan 12th, 2020!! This Sankranti will be my biggest and most special :):) Thankyou @anilravipudi” he tweeted, with the poster featuring the title and release date. The clash is inevitable and Tollywood film-goers are going to find it difficult to pick a movie.

AlaVaikuntapurramloo stars Arjun with Pooja Hegde, Tabu, Navdeep, Jayaram, and Murali Sharma. As for Sarileru Neekevvaru, Mahesh stars opposite Dear Comrade actress Rashmika Mandanna.
