Alia Bhatt's RRR co star Ram Charan praises her 'screen presence' in Gangubai Kathiawadi's teaser

After a long wait, the official teaser of Gangubai Kathiawadi has been finally released much to the excitement of the movie buffs. Alia Bhatt who is playing the titular role has earned praise owing to her stint in the same. For the uninitiated, the movie is based on an infamous Mafia queen from Kathiawadi and her eventual rise to power in the area named Kamathipura. How she gradually becomes the sole reigning queen of the place is what makes up the story.

Numerous celebs have sent congratulatory wishes to Alia Bhatt and Gangubai Kathiawadi’s director Sanjay Leela Bhansali after the teaser release. Among them is Ram Charan who will soon be seen with the actress in yet another project. The South actor took to Twitter and wrote, “Superb Teaser Sanjay Sir! Great screen presence @aliaa08 Looking forward to the film.” He has also re-shared the official teaser of the movie along with this post.

For the unversed, Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt will team up for SS Rajamouli’s much-talked about movie RRR. The period action drama also features Jr. NTR, Ajay Devgn, Ray Stevenson, Samuthirakani, and Aison Doody. Meanwhile, talking about Gangubai Kathiawadi, the movie’s story is based on the book named ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’ penned by S. Hussain Zaidi. For the unversed, it is going to hit the theatre screens on July 30, 2021. If media reports are to be believed, its release date will clash with the Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam.
