Kollywood superstar Ajith Kumar, who began his career with a small role in the 1990 Tamil film En Veedu En Kanavar, has completed 27 glorious years in the film industry today, i.e. on August 3. The actor has earned a huge fan following over the years with his powerful persona and strong on-screen performance. Thala Ajith, popularly called by his fans, has become one of the biggest stars of South India but his journey to success wasn’t easy. The superstar went through a lot of challenges. He even worked in the garment industry and turned a businessman by starting a textile-processing agency; however, Ajith could not make it a big.

Ajith always wanted to make his career in modelling and racing, but life had better plans for the superstar who established himself in films. Kandukondain Kandukondain, Dheena, Citizen, Varalaru, Billa and Mankatha are among his many hit movies. Well, he has entertained his fans for 27 years and promises to continue to do so with each passing day.
