Naga Chaitanya, son of Akkineni Nagarjuna made his debut with film Josh in 2009 and since then has featured in a lot of films. The Telugu star had ups and downs in his career but he continued to shine with movies like Ye Maaya Chesave (2010), 100% Love, Premam, Manam and Majili. There is no denying Chay has worked on himself and in the last few years, he has come out of his comfort zone and is trying various roles. He is a son of a famous personality and comes from a filmy background but despite that, Naga Chaitanya always kept himself away and being tagged about the same. He never took advantage of the same and played a calm guy, onscreen as well as off-screen. 

While his wife Samantha Akkineni is super active on social media and is known for her impeccable style, Naga Chaitanya, on the other is opposite. The Tollywood star keeps himself away from the media glare. He is a very shy and anti-social person. While most of the young stars reach to their fans through social media, Chay chooses otherwise. He lets his work do all the talking. 1. During one of the interviews, Chay revealed a lesser-known fact about it which by now everyone is aware of. He had said, "I'm not a social guy. I don't like the constant media glare on everything I do."

2. Known for his charming and down to earth personality, Naga Chaitanya loves taking his bike for a spin during the free time. 

3. He might not be regular at the gym but makes sure to have an emotional attachment towards fitness. He had stated, "Going to a gym or playing a sport should not be mechanical. There should be an emotional attachment to it."

4. The actor was honest with whatever he was doing in his career. In 2013, speaking to PTI, he had said, "Coming from Akkineni family, I could say I was drawn into cinema, but nobody forced me to become an actor. I was 19 or 20 when I was confused about whether to take up films as a career. At that juncture, I enrolled in an acting workshop and then eventually realised I was destined to be in films." 

5. The actor has never failed to praise his ladylove and accepted she is sometimes ahead of him. When their movies clashed at the box office, the actor in an interview to Deccan Chronicle stated, "Yes, she released a promotional song which became viral and she is a bit ahead. Next time, I have to learn from her." 

6. Naga Chaitanya has always been clear about how there is too much competition in the industry and that one cannot be in the same zone all the time. "There is no safe zone now: whether it's commercial or experimental films, the audience wants content. Otherwise, they reject the film," the actor had stated. 

7. Responding to wife Samantha’s revelations that he doesn’t like to post much on Instagram, Naga Chaitanya during the same interview had said, “Yes, off screen, I am a very shy person and I want to keep my personal life completely personal. Most of my time is in front of the camera, so the little time that I get is mine alone.” The actor confirms that his other film Savsyasachi is also complete." 

8. Naga Chaitanya might not be at the top of his game but his upcoming films like Love Story and Thank You are high on expectations. He can touch the sky if focused on the right scripts and content.
