Song Hye Kyo to feature alongside Choi Hee Seo & Jang Ki Yong in new comeback drama I'm Breaking Up Now
Song Hye Kyo will begin filming for the drama I'm Breaking Up Now in April this year.
Song Hye Kyo is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and talented actresses in the Korean entertainment industry. She gained popularity with the drama Autumn In My Heart and went on to play prominent roles in Full House with K-pop star Rain, That Winter The Wind Blows, Descendants Of The Sun and Encounter. She is also teaming up with writer Kim Eun Suk's next, a sad revenge drama titled, Glory. But before that, Song Hye Kyo is confirmed to make her broadcast come back with the romance drama I'm Breaking Up Now.
On March 10, it was confirmed that Song Hye Kyo will indeed be joining actors Jang Ki Yong, Choi Hee Seo, and Kim Joo Heon in the romance drama, I'm Breaking Up Now, which will air on SBS Drama. I'm Breaking Up Now portrays various stories about love and relationships that occur in the fashion industry. It will depict the bitterness of a breakup and the emotional turmoil an individual goes through as a result of that. According to Newsen, via Soompi, Song Hye Kyo will portray Ha Young Eun, a manager of the design team at a fashion label. She is smart and fashionable but rooted in reality. Jang Ki Yong will play the male lead Yoon Jae Guk, a wealthy and popular freelancer photographer, blessed with both, beauty and brains. Choi Hee Seo will portray Hwang Chi Sook, the director of the fashion label’s design team. She is also acquaintances with Ha Young Eun, since high-school. Kim Joo Heon will play the skilled PR company CEO Seok Do Hoon.
Song Hye Kyo had previously declined the role, but after much persuasion from the production team and carefully reviewing the project, she signed on the dotted line. The drama will begin filming in April and is scheduled to air via SBS, sometime in October this year.
