Liking a tweet, a facebook page or a post, can make or break the company. Especially if it’s a big brand. The popular weekly music program, Show Champion, is now under fire. Fans noticed that on it’s official Twitter page, the show had liked a hate tweet for the Kpop group ATEEZ.

As soon as the fans noticed it, there was an uproar on Twitter with fans trending #RespectATEEZ. After noticing the trend, the show then released an apology, clarifying how it happened - due to a staff member’s mistakes - and apologised to the fans. According to a fan translation, the company said that the person in charge accidentally liked the tweet, while searching for the ‘Show Champion’ keyword, in the process of uploading things quickly. While the show did apologise to the fans, ATINYs want them to directly apologize to the members, as one of the replies on the company’s tweet said, “how do you “accidentally” like a hate comment, it doesn’t make sense, do you not read what you spread beforehand? Just don’t repeat this same thing again.”

However, the fans are divided with their opinions on this incident. While the majority of them lean towards demanding professionalism, a better apology (directed towards the artists, not the fans); a few fans are taking this in a calmer tone saying that everyone can make a mistake but apology is what matters.
