SHINee's Onew, GOT7's Youngjae, DAY6's Wonpil & Lovelyz's Kei to feature in romance musical, The Sun's Song

A romance-musical with the who's who of the K-pop industry? Yes, please! SHINee’s Onew, GOT7’s Youngjae, DAY6’s Wonpil, and Lovelyz’s Kei have been cast in the musical, The Sun’s Song. The Sun's Song also called A Song To The Sun is based on a 1993 Hong Kong film of the same name. The heart-fluttering romance musical narrates the story of Hae Na and Ha Ram who meet and sing the brightest song of the sun. Ha Ram and Hae Na represent the sun and the moon respectively. The project is a major success in the world, and will now be revamped through a collaboration with top-notch creative staff members for the Korean audiences.

According to a report carried out by Newsen, via Soompi, A Song To The Sun's production team has announced that the titular role of Ha Ram, the boy as gleaming as the midday sun, will be played by Onew, Wonpil, Youngjae, and the musical actor Jo Hoon. The actors will each portray the revitalising energy of the brightest moment in youth with their own individual charm. Lovelyz's Kei, Kang Hye In, and Lee Ah Jin will be playing Hae Na, the girl who shines like a soft moon. The actresses will impress audiences with their powerful voices and the character’s natural personality.

The musical will be performed starting on May 1 until July 25 at the Kwanglim Arts Center. Tickets will go on sale starting March 12.
