SHINee’s Key, VIXX’s N, 2AM’s Jeong Jinwoon complete mandatory military service; Write heartfelt notes to fans
In some amazing news, SHINee’s Key, VIXX’s N and 2AM’s Jeong Jinwoon have been discharged from military service today, i.e. October 7, 2020.
In some good news, SHINee's Key, VIXX's N and 2AM's Jeong Jinwoon have been discharged from the military service today, i.e. October 7, according to Soompi. Owing to the military's COVID-19 protocol, the three singers will be discharged without having to return to their base post their final leave. Moreover, the trio enlisted in March 2019 and joined the military band.
Before Key; who was the second SHINee member to enlist in the military, it was SHINee leader Onew who had discharged on July 20. N was the first VIXX member to enlist while Jeong Jinwoon was the last 2AM member to enlist. Taking to Instagram, a happy Key shared several photos of himself holding a cake in his hand while still dressed in uniform. Being surrounded by banners congratulating him on his homecoming, we see the 29-year-old singer doing the military salute as well.
On SHINee's official website, Key penned a message along with an audio message for Shawols. "I’m back!!! As promised, I’ve returned in good health! Thank you for waiting. Look forward to various activities from me, and let’s make lots of memories from now on! Love you all," Key penned next to his autograph. As per the audio message, Key shared, "Hello everyone, this is SHINee’s Key. The day I thought would never come to me has finally come. I’ve been discharged in good health. Thank you so much for waiting. I’ll prepare lots of things to show you, so please anticipate it. I’d like to thank you once more, and I hope to see you all soon, smiling and happy. Bye!"
On the other hand, N took to his Instagram page to share some handsome snaps of himself while still in uniform (a swoon-worthy selfie included!). Along with the snaps, the 30-year-old singer wrote, "I’ve come back safely!! It was both a long and short time, depending on how you look at it, but it was a precious time in which I learned and felt a lot. Because of this, I will continue to cheer on my juniors who are still carrying out their duties in defending the nation and all the officers of the armed forces. I will become a Cha Hak-yeon who works even harder. Thank you and thank you for waiting for me and cheering me on! Salute! Sergeant Cha Hak-yeon has officially been discharged on October 7! Salute," via Soompi.
