Indian commentator, Sanjay Manjrekar who called Ravindra Jadeja a ‘bits and pieces’ player was trolled heavily by the fans post Jadeja’s exceptional spell in his first match of the on-going World Cup tournament. Despite not playing a single match prior to this game, Jadeja had been extremely useful to the team as a substitute fielder and managed to take quite a few important catches for the team.

However, the Indian all-rounder showcased his talent in his very first match of the tournament by dismissing Kusal Mendis. Mendis ended up scoring mere 3 runs off 13 deliveries as the number four batsman for the Sri Lankan team.

However, Sanjay Manjrekar couldn’t escape the Twitterati and was trolled yet again for his comments earlier this week.

Ravindra Jadeja claimed one wicket in this game and bowled exceptionally well with an economy of 4.00 in his 10 over spell which helped India to restrict the Sri Lankan batsmen to a total of 264 at the end of 50 overs. A few also put forth their wish to see Ravindra Jadeja receive the Man of the Match award and Manjrekar to interview him in the post match presentation.

Earlier this week, Ravindra Jadeja replied to Sanjay Manjrekar’s ‘bits and pieces’ comment and said that he have had enough of his verbal diarrhoea. He tweeted as, “Still i have played twice the number of matches you have played and i m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved.i have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea.@sanjaymanjrekar.”
