Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and other cricketers congratulate ISRO on successful launch of Chandrayaan 2

Scientists at the Indian Space Research Organistaion (ISRO) successfully launched Chandrayaan 2 into space, using a GSLV Mark 3 rocket launcher. It was injected into orbit from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota in Andra Pradesh around 2.435 pm on Monday. 

As soon as the news came out, Indians took to Twitter to congratulate the scientists, as India became the first country to send a rocket to the South Pole of the celestial body. Along with proud citizens, cricketers too shared their feelings, and congratulated the scientists for their feat.
