Ittefaq Quick Movie Review
Here's a quick review of Sonakshi Sinha-Sidharth Malhotra-Akshaye Khanna starrer Ittefaq.
It's rare that a bunch of scribes are busy discussing the plot of the film rather than the flavour of their coffee during interval. It's equally rare that a thriller manages to pique the interest of those who watch films for a living. It's an intricately layered story which bears negligible similarities to its original plot.
Thankfully, it's a refreshing story. The truth is placed in a Rashomon like scenario, where a lot of it is left to the viewers to decipher. The thinking game is super, so is Akshaye Khanna who renders to the film its grit. Suspects/sufferers Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha are adept but eventually, here's a script winning it seems finally. It's a true blue noir setting with the soul of a quintessential whodunit.
As we head back to catch the rest of it, looks like here's one review that will be an uphill task. How do you keep the review spoiler free?
P.S - The no marketing strategy was a genius idea. The lesser I know, the better it works!
