SuperM lives up to its name! The multi-talented group was formed by SM Entertainment in 2019. The members have been hand-picked from four different boy groups by SM Entertainment, across three different generations of K pop boy groups - SHINee, EXO, NCT 127 and NCT's subgroup WayV. The members are Taemin of SHINee, Kai and Baekhyun from EXO, Mark and Taeyong from NCT127 and Lucas and Ten from WayV. Baekhyun is the leader of SuperM. They debuted on October 4, 2019 with their self-titled EP and lead track, the foot-tapping song, Jopping.
I have always thought of SuperM as unusual food combinations. Different, yet interesting, easily malleable, yet versatile. The idea of creating a K pop universe aka Avengers-style is a super cool concept. SuperM members are not only talented but they are a wholesome group too. Each member represents an individualistic style and has a very personal appeal with their respective fandoms too. The fact that there are members of different nationalities or Koreans who have lived abroad, adds extra charm to this charismatic group. It is an unfortunate myth that people think unusual food combinations are a bad choice.
