Talking about style statement, Yami had earlier said, ''Be effortless while styling your look. A nice watch, great shoes, a minimal belt, and nice hair should take you a long way.''
''If you can pull it off, cropped trousers are ideal for summer. They can fall anywhere from just below the knee to around the ankle. It’s a good idea to find a pair that fits well on the waist, and adding a belt can make them less comfortable in the heat,'' she had said.
On the work front, Yami is gearing up for her next film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu. She plays the role of a lawyer in the film.
About the film, she had recently said, “I am not telling the story. (All I can say) Both Shahid and I are playing lawyers and I can’t wait to start the shoot. I am happy the way my character has shaped up. She is a very strong girl. I don’t know how do you measure a cameo and full-fledged part. I look at it as what my character has added to the story, how important it is to the narrative. I know I am playing a strong character. I am excited to create something new which is a social drama on electricity issues faced in small towns.’’
