Virat and Anushka are one of those couples who kept their relationship on the down low and it was rare to see any form of PDA from the pair. But, all that has changed since the two got hitched in Tuscany on December 11, 2017.
During the match, Virat spoke fondly about his wife and credited her for her constant motivation and support. Virat revealed, "People who contribute off the field they deserve a lot of credit as well. My wife who keeps me motivated deserves a lot of credit. She's been criticised a lot in the past. But she's one person who's kept me going throughout the tour."
Recently, Virat tweeted about Anushka's upcoming film's trailer and wrote, "Can’t wait to watch my one and only in an avatar never seen before and I’m blown away already. Can’t wait @anushkasharma @officialcsfilms #PariTrailer"
This is not the first time Virat has promoted Anushka's film. He took to his Twitter and appreciated Anushka's first outing as a producer, NH 10. The Indian cricket team captain tweeted, "Just watched #NH10 and i am blown away. What a brilliant film and specially an outstanding performance by my love @AnushkaSharma. SO PROUD:)"
Earlier, when Virat Kohli was asked if things had changed post marriage, he said at a press conference, “Not difficult at all, I was away for something (marriage) which is much more important. That is a period that will always remain special for both of us. Switching back to cricket is not difficult at all because it is in my blood like it is for every other team member and the team management as well, so getting back to professional front is not difficult at all."
