The couple announced this big news on their Twitter page and wrote, "Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share this wonderful news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans and well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey."
After their wedding, the two went for their honeymoon in Finaland. Post that, the newlyweds went to Delhi and we have come across an unseen picture from their trip. While Virat is seen wearing a sherwani, Anushka looks pretty in a pink coloured suit.
Anushka had taken a break from the film’s shoot for her wedding. She returned on sets of Zero a while back and received a lovely welcome. Anushka shared images of the floral decoration in her vanity van and posted, "Great to be back on set.. Thank you for this floral welcome guys!! Lots of love @redchilliesent @iamsrk @cypplofficial,” and “They say - Back to one! In this case ill say - Back to Zero !! Happy to be back on the film and back to work with my lovely co actrors and crew !! Thank you for the beautifully decorated floral van.”
Director Aanand L Rai said, “Anushka, in fact, wanted to return a couple of days early just so our schedule doesn’t suffer. But we took a collective decision and told her she should enjoy this period to the fullest. She can get back to work when she’s done with her vacation.”
