View Pics: Sridevi looks ethereal in a royal blue silk saree

There’s no denying the fact that Sridevi is one of the most beautiful actresses that we have today. She has won millions of hearts with her spectacular acting skills and charming smile. 

Today, we got our hands on a picture, where the actress is looking drop dead gorgeous in a royal blue silk saree. She styled her look with uncut diamond jewellery. The actress tied her hair in a bun and looked extremely beautiful.

On the work front, Sridevi was last seen in the movie MOM produced by hubby Boney Kapoor. The movie, which also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui, fared decently at the box office.

There are also reports that Sridevi is all set to collaborate with the director of English Vinglish, Gauri Shinde for the sequel of the film. 

Sridevi and Gauri Shinde will unite after five years to take the story of Shashi forward.

A source shared with a leading daily, “Sridevi indicated that a collaboration is in the offing when the film completed five years last month. She shared a picture of Gauri and her, and wrote, ‘Coming Soon’. They were supposed to come together for a woman-centric light-hearted comedy earlier, but the story was not fully developed. So, they shifted their focus to the sequel.”

“She takes her time mulling over scripts and selecting them, which is why her second innings has been only two films, but both of them critically and commercially acclaimed at that. She might to a cameo in Janhvi’s debut but her next project will be with Gauri. The film will kick off sometime early next year,” the source added.

Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor is all set to take Bollywood by storm. She is working on the movie Dhadak opposite Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter.

During a recent interview,  Sridevi had said about Jhanvi and her career, "She has chosen this path and profession, and I have been in this industry for long. So I am mentally more prepared than her. She has been watching me, and knows what she is getting into. Nothing is going to be a cakewalk in any profession. So you have to work hard, and there will be challenges. I’m sure she is ready for it.”
