Vidya Balan's different looks for Harper's Bazaar(March 2012)

Vidya Balan was delighted to shootfor the BAZAAR cover. And while she wishes she could have done the shoot in asari, she’s happy with the experimentation and the fact that she’ssporting a look that is so different from her everyday appearances. She’shappy with the way the BAZAAR team has captured a different side of her, and ispleasantly surprised by the result as well. When asked to share her thoughtson how she felt shooting with BAZAAR, Vidya said “I enjoyed theshoot—we had this fantastic makeup artist, Christopher Koller, and hairstylist Gabriel. They had no idea that I wear Indian outfits all the time, sothey experimented, and I went with the flow. What we ended up with was a greatshoot. I’ve shot for pictures that are so not me, and yet, at a very deeplevel it is me, because I love trying out new things.”
