A bevvy of stars were spotted at the airport today.
Vidya Balan chose to wear ethnic and looked beautiful as ever. She kept it simple and was seen wearing a kurta and leggings. She was all smiles as she got clicked by the shutterbugs.
Recently, in an interview with a leading daily, the actor talked about her idea of a successful marriage and equality in the relationship.
Vidya had said, "At the end of the day, a marriage of any relationship is a partnership, so there has to be equality. Men aren't accustomed to this idea, which is why women have to lure them into doing at least some of the work before expecting them to do 5 percent. See, both partners step out of the house to earn their livelihood but it's highly unfair that after a long, hard day, the woman has to come back and do household chores. Even if she has a help at home, she still has to monitor, supervise and keep a check on everything. So, men should contribute equally."
Sonakshi Sinha was clicked at the airport while she was leaving for Jodhpur. The actor kept it pretty casual in a printed white top with denim. Sonakshi is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming movie, Welcome To New York which is directed by Chakri Toleti and also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani, Lara Dutta, Sushant Singh Rajput and Rana Daggubati with a special appearance by Salman Khan.
In an interview with a leading daily, Sonakshi was asked about how women were first treated as flower pots in movies but that has drastically changed with women-centric films on the uprise. Talking about it, Sonakshi stated, "I think that’s a great and positive step, but I disagree with the thought that all actresses were props or decorations in our films. Women always had their part to play. Look at Madhuri Dixit, Karisma Kapoor, Sridevi…the personality of these women and their persona on screen was outstanding. They lent so much to the parts they played in their films. If you do something with all your heart, it’s a part done well. Today, the audience is open to seeing women perform heroic acts on screen. Earlier, they wanted to see men doing herogiri, but that is not the case anymore. You know, when I was shooting Akira with AR Murugadoss, he treated me the way he treated Akshay Kumar on the set of Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty. It gives you a sense of confidence and such equal treatment is very gratifying for an artist. This is how it should be."
Malaika Arora Khan and Harshvardhan Kapoor were also clicked at the airport. While Malaika kept her look sporty, Harshvardhan was seen in his casual avatar.
