Veteran actresses Jaya Bachchan and Hema Malini make an elegant appearance in the city

Jaya Bachchan and Hema Malini were clicked in the city today looking ethereal. Hema Malini was clicked on the sets of Dance India Dance. She was the special guest on the episode. She bonded with Mithun Chakraborty on the sets. She looked beautiful as ever in a beige colored embroidered saree which she teamed with exquisite jewelry.

Jaya Bachchan was spotted in the city as she stepped out to run errands. She kept it simple in a kurta-pajama. The Bachchan household celebrated Basant Panchmi yesterday.

Recently, Jaya Bachchan shot for a magazine cover with daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and grand-daughter Navya. The Bachchan-Nanda women spoke about motherhood and parenting. She had said in the interview, “This generation are friends with their children, but I am also always surprised with the liberties they accord them. I worry but Shweta tells me, ‘Mum, she lives alone in New York’. It’s going to be even harder when Aradhaya grows up.”

Hema Malini turned grandmother for the second time with the birth of Esha Deol’s daughter Radhya. She had then said, ““It’s such a beautiful feeling to become a grandmom again! I am very excited right now. Even Dharmendra ji is very happy. Esha is doing well, and the newborn baby girl, whom Esha and her husband Bharat Takhtani have decided to name Radhya, is so sweet and lovely-looking, like a little doll!”
