Umang 2019: Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu and Janhvi Kapoor show their josh for the event

Just like every year, the Umang festival for the Mumbai police will be held even this time. The Umang event will be held today in Mumbai. Every year, many Bollywood celebrities give their best performances and thank the Mumbai police for all their hard-work, protection, awareness and efforts to keep the city safe. The same will be happening this year and the event will be a star-studded affair again.

Regarding Umang 2019, Mumbai Police tweeted, "The stage is set for #Umang2019 Nothing begins without remembering our ‘Vighnaharta’". The shutterbugs also snapped Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu and Janhvi Kapoor at the venue. While Janhvi Kapoor was snapped making her way towards the backstage, Vicky and Taapsee were rehearsing their dance. Looks like they will treat the audience with their performance on Manmarziyaan songs. We can't wait to see their chemistry again!

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike which released this month crossed 100 crore mark at the box office. The actor is heavily praised for his performance in the film.

He will be next seen in Karan Johar's Takht which also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.

Janhvi Kapoor will also be playing the role of first female IAF pilot, Gunjan Saxena in a biopic based on her. Gunjan was behind the evacuation of injured soldiers from Kargil in 1999.

After Pink, Taapsee Pannu will be reuniting with Amitabh Bachchan again for the film titled Badla.
