Umang 2018: Deepika Padukone looks incredibly beautiful in a black saree, View pics

The annual Mumbai Police show, Umang, was being hosted in the city today. It was a star-studded affair with the who’s who of Bollywood turning up in style at the event. 

Deepika Padukone also made a stylish appearance at the event. She looked breathtakingly beautiful in a black saree, designed by Sabyasachi. The stunning actress tied her hair in a bun and completed her look with statement earrings.

During an episode of BFFs with Vogue which featured Deepika with sister Anisha Padukone, the actress was asked whose wedding attire would she prefer to adorn when she gets married. She had to choose between Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi Mukherjee. While one would assume that her answer would be Manish, Deepika chose Sabyasachi instead.

Meanwhile, rumours went into overdrive when it was reported that Deepika and Ranveer Singh would be going the Anushka and Virat route and tying the knot soon. They were seen vacationing in Sri Lanka with their parents but it looks like it was only for Deepika's birthday celebrations. 
 
Earlier, in an interview with a leading fashion magazine, when Deepika was asked if she is planning to settle down in 2018, the actress revealed, "I can't put a year to it. Honestly, I've never been able to do anything that is time bound. I believe relationships have their way of unfolding. As far as my equation with him is concerned, I am sure that will unfold in its own manner. I can't wait to be a homemaker. Because from the time I was a little girl, I've always wanted to be that. I've always wanted to start a family."
 
On the work front, Deepika and Ranveer along with Shahid Kapoor will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati which is slated to release on January 25, 2018.
