Twinkle Khanna and Shilpa Shetty enjoy Sunday lunch with their kids

Twinkle Khanna is a doting mother to daughter Nitara. Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna often go on holidays with their children and enjoy family time together.

Today, Twinkle Khanna was snapped with daughter Nitara in the city post lunch. Twinkle's friends also accompanied the mother-daughter duo for the lunch. The mother-daughter duo walked hand-in-hand as they stepped out of the restaurant.

Shilpa Shetty was also snapped outside a restaurant with husband Raj Kundra, son Viaan and sister Shamita Shetty. Shilpa and her family were all smiles and posed for the cameras.

A while back, Twinkle shared a lovely post of herself bonding with daughter Nitara over books. What's more interesting is her caption which reads, "Matching pyjamas and a love for books #aboutlastnight."
 
Meanwhile, when Twinkle was asked if she worries about the constant media attention on her kids, Twinkle had said, "We are very protective about our kids (Aarav and Nitara), so very rarely do we post any picture of them. But I feel they are more equipped to handle this than we were and we are. Still, one thing that I do get worried about is their security because then they are recognisable to any layperson. So, unless you surround your children with bodyguards, you are taking a risk but you can’t even raise them in that environment. I don’t think I want to. I want them to be as grounded as possible." 
 
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Shilpa Shetty revealed that her so Viaan had no idea why she is popular. He only got to know when he saw the actor on TV.
 
"As a child, Viaan has no sense of why people are coming to take pictures of me. He still doesn’t know the concept of being popular and famous. I can see that he has now gradually started to get his head around it. Now he is like, ‘mama you are famous’," the actor had said.
